TOM MIX WEPT was first displayed in Denver, CO at BRDG Project's "True West" exhibit in January of 2021 and was later invited to hang in Branson's Rural Art Show. Most recently "Tom" was featured as the only fiber art installation in "Latitude 37" at The Arvada Center.

The embodiment of cowboy masculinity in his trademark white ten-gallon Stetson hat, Mix also came to be known for his unexpected vulnerability after weeping openly at his dear friend Wyatt Earp's funeral.

Tom Mix Wept is a six-foot-wide hand-crocheted fiber cowboy hat and a whimsical representation of Mix's unique ability to straddle softness and grit.
